Adding parts/tyres stock

It may be important to your garage to keep on top of your parts/tyres stock levels, you can do this with Purchase invoices which will allow you to accurately manage and review the profit and loss on parts and tyres.

To add parts or tyres stock using purchase invoices, follow these steps:

1. Go to Parts/Tyres > Parts (or Tyres for tyre stock) in your garage management system.
2. Make sure the part or tyre you want to add stock for is already listed in your parts/tyres inventory in the top window.
3. In the bottom window, select the appropriate purchase invoice from the drop-down list. (If you need to create a new purchase invoice, follow the steps outlined in Creating a new purchase invoice.
4. Double-click on the part or tyre you want to add stock for. This will add it to the purchase invoice.
5. Input the quantity of the part or tyre you are adding to your stock. Ensure that the "Net Each" price, VAT code, and Nominal codes are correct for accurate accounting. (1)
6. Once you have entered all the necessary details, click the save icon at the end of the row to add the specified quantity to your stock. (2)
7. Repeat steps 4 - 6 to add more items to the invoice if required.
